(She/Her/Hers)
Kayla has been a practicing RMT since 2018, and believes that Massage Therapy is an extremely useful tool to help treat pain and stress. Kayla is a dancer and former competitive figure skater, and loves working with fellow dancers and other artistic athletes. She also takes a special interest in helping people living with hypermobility and hypermobility disorders such as EDS/HSD, chronic pain and stress, TMJ issues, migraines, and insomnia.
Her main goal as an RMT is to help you feel supported, empowered, and safe in your body, and her bio-psycho-social approach to healing helps each patient gain a sense of understanding about where their pain could be coming from. A typical treatment with Kayla will involve a quick yet thorough intake, and treatment techniques that combine therapeutic relaxation with more specific, targeted maneuvers depending on what’s suitable for each individual. She also loves finding unique and enjoyable ways to incorporate movement and strength into everyday life, giving her patients the tools to help themselves outside of the treatment room.
